99CLOVER is a brand based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

We've been making clothes since 2020.

The backstory....

It all began in 2020 with 3 friends:

-Hugo was good at photoshop

-Xav was studying business in school

-Daev had recently gained manufacturer contacts

We were 17 at the time and we wanted to support local brands in Indonesia, but back then, all the local brands sold super ugly clothes (in our opinion).

Around the same time, Hugo was following a bunch of Instagram pages from the US that posted these "homemade" brands. He got inspired and started screen printing at home during the COVID lockdown.

Hugo asked Xav if he wanted to make some clothes—just for our friends and people we knew. Later, they had lunch with Daev, who happened to show them a new shirt he got made by a local manufacturer. The three of us lived nearby, and we also had a local print shop just 5 minutes away.

It all made sense, so we just ran with it.

We started with t-shirts, and when we released a hoodie (Clover Vision) in 2021, it really blew us up locally. We continued to successfully run 99CLOVER for the next 5 years solely selling in Indonesia (setting up international shipping was complicated and we were lazy).

Fast forward to July 2025... we have an office, we're finally launching our website, and finally shipping internationally. We couldn't be more grateful and we continue to work hard to keep the things we make creative and human.
